Cookies for Senior’s Awards Night

On Monday May 17, at 7p.m., Senior’s Awards Night took place in the PAC. For refreshments there were many delicious cookies ranging from chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, and oatmeal. These cookies were from the courtesy of Ms. Casale’s nutrition classes. They had baked 55 dozen cookies in two full days.
This was the first year that Ms. Casale’s classes made cookies for Senior’s Awards Night,by the request of Ms. Shiu and Ms. Fenech. Ms. Casale commented, “I thought it would be a nice way for my students to give back to the school.” Ms. Casale said, the only conflict of baking the cookies was finding a way to store them. Overall, this was a success, because both the seniors and their families enjoyed them.
