On Friday, April 30, el Dia de Silencia took place at San Mateo High School. All across the school, students stopped talking for a day to protest the immigration law recently passed in Arizona. The law has already caused controversy all over the United States and the feelings of outrage have spread to San Mateo High School. Well-known Spanish teachers Ms. Stanley and Ms. Adamcikova organized the protest.
