TV Shows That Shouldn’t Be

Living in America, we are used to the infinite amounts of television shows that run every second of every day. Some shows have run their course, or just have never been good to begin with.

Modern Comedy About Your Favorite Families

If you are a teenage girl, an awkward boy, gay, married, or have family members–this is the show for you. Throughout television, people are able to relate to comedy sitcoms–especially when they hit a little too close to home. This factor is so overtly obvious in Modern Family, it’s borderline ridiculous. Let’s Go Green and Join the Team

Have you ever wondered what happens to your recycling after you, hopefully, put it in its corresponding bin? That’s right, your school’s Green Team takes and sorts all recycling for the school. Green Team is a club on campus that strives to make this school a cleaner and greener place for all students to enjoy. They make sure all classrooms have sufficient resources for recycling, collect recycling around the school, and sort it so it can be recycled instead of thrown away with regular trash. Green Team’s advisor is Mr. Appleman, and this year its leader is Natalie Kuan who also receives help from members and the school’s Green Commissioner Kiana Woodward.

Bay Area Fashion Rises

The show fundraised for the research and global awareness of breast cancer. Camari Henderson, the wonder woman behind the concept, and the crew were rewarded a fantastic turnout in honor of a crucial cause.

Penn is Mightier then the Sword

Junior year is an important year on many fronts: it’s the year students first take the SAT’s, the year most students get their licenses and jobs, and it’s the year students must begin to consider the pressing question, “where should I apply to college?” It is of the utmost importance to research, explore, and study the different options available. That’s what the majority of college guides will tell you. However, what many will neglect to mention is how to begin. How does one select a college and then weigh their options? Well, an article once a month in the newspaper isn’t as extensive or as informative as The Fiske Guide To Colleges, but it’s a start.
